Lawmaker wants home delivery for wine
A state lawmaker has introduced a bill setting up home delivery for wine.
State Representative Michael McKell says he didn't know it wasn't allowed until he was approached by some constituents who were frustrated because they couldn't join a wine of the month club.
McKell says his bill would let Utah residents order from an out-of-state producer or, for a fee, have it delivered to their home.
Buyers would still need to show proof-of-age and pay for the order in full upon delivery.
State Representative Michael McKell says the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control would handle the delivery.
