LDS missionary dies while serving mission

A missionary for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints has died while serving in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Church officials say the 21-year-old Elder died after suffering from a "brief illness."

He had been serving in the Democratic Republic of the Congo Mission since November 2017.

He is originally from that country.
