Eric Mitchell visited the KDXU studios last week, promoting his charity called Sleep in Heavenly Peace.

What this charity does is make beds, lots of beds.  At their last event they ended up making 20 beds all together.  These beds are then donated to children who don’t have beds to sleep in at night.

As with all charities like this one, they need the community’s help to make these beds a reality for those who need them most.  There are several ways that people can help.

Mitchell has set up a registry at Target that people can purchase sheets, pillows and blankets.

We will put the information to do this on our website and Facebook page.

Also

You can donate financially for wood, mattresses and other needed supplies by going to their website at shpbeds.org/chapters

Now, if you know someone or are someone who might need a bed for your child you can also visit the website to request a bed.  Again, the website is shpbeds.org/chapters, and we will put all the information on our website.
