National Parks bring over one-billion dollars to Utah
The National Parks Service says Utah's national parks contributed over one-billion-dollars to the state's economy last year.
The NPS visitor spending effects report shows that Glen Canyon National Recreation Area contributed the most to Utah's economy with 411-million-dollars in visitor spending.
That includes items such as hotel stays, restaurants and retail and other purchases.
Visitors to Zion National Park contributed 246-million to the state economy, while those going to Bryce Canyon National Park added another 227-million.
