Nevada man arrested in Washington County for attempting to meet a minor for sex

A Nevada man arrested in Utah during an undercover sting is sentenced in federal court for traveling to meet a minor for sex.

Washington County authorities say 37-year-old James Allen Wynhoff pleaded guilty in January, and got 48 months in federal prison.

The judge said Wynhoff would be on probation for 20 years after his release.

He also ordered Wynhoff to undergo a federal nine-month drug treatment program, and to get sex offender treatment.
