New Law for Utah Motorcyclists

A law goes into effect May 2019 that will bring big changes to Utah roads allowing motorcycles to move between lanes when traffic is stopped.

According to the Utah Highway Patrol, between 2011 and 2017, 1,288 motorcyclists were rear-ended, and many of them were seriously injured.

Supporters say the law is all about keeping motorcyclists safe.
