Prosecutors working for a resolution in Manzanares murder case
Federal prosecutors are asking that deadlines be cancelled in the case of a Saint George man accused of killing his wife on a cruise ship.
Kenneth Manzanares was charged with murder after his wife Kristy was found dead of a head wound in July of 2017, while the pair were on the ship near Alaska.
The prosecutors' motion Friday included a statement that the parties were working toward a resolution.
In February, Manzanares' attorneys said they were also seeking a plea deal.
