A grocery store in Salt Lake City is recalling carrot sticks after a woman bit down on a razor blade lodged in her food.

The woman reported that she bought the precut carrot sticks for the Harmons in City Creek on Monday.

Thankfully, she was not injured.

Harmons issued a recall for any precut carrot sticks with a sell-by date of January 19th bought at the City Creek location.

Store officials believe a mechanical failure at a processing plant may have allowed the metal shard to get into the food.
