Record golden trout caught in Uintahs

A 13-year-old now holds the record for catching Utah's largest golden trout.

The state Division of Wildlife Resources announced on its Facebook page yesterday that Issac Vance caught the record trout at Marsh Lake in the High Uintahs.

The fish was nearly 15 inches long and weighed just under 19 ounces.

The previous record was set in 1977.
