Renewable Energy Conference in Salt Lake City

One of the largest renewable energy conferences in the United States is kicking off today at the Salt Palace.

Nearly 20-thousand people are expected for the Solar Power International Conference, which will start this afternoon with a speech by Vivint Solar CEO David Bywater.

The event will feature talks, demonstrations of new technology and displays by about 700 exhibitors.

The conference ends on Thursday.
