Republican group telling Congressman McAdams to oppose Trump impeachment

A Republican group is telling Utah Democratic Congressman Ben McAdams that he should oppose any move to impeach President Trump.

The National Republican Campaign Committee has spent a thousand dollars on a social media campaign targeting McAdams.

The ads that began on Facebook yesterday ask viewers to sign a petition urging McAdams to oppose impeachment.

A spokesman for the congressman called the ads misleading, saying McAdams has already stated that he opposes impeaching the President.
