Republican Congressman Chris Stewart again defended President Trump during today's impeachment hearing before the House Intelligence Committee.

While addressing U.S. Ambassador to the European Union Gordon Sondland, Stewart read comments from the president of Ukraine where he said he did not believe he was under pressure from President Trump to investigate political rivals.

Stewart then gave examples of previous times when the U.S. withheld military aid out of concerns of government corruption.

Yesterday morning, Sondland testified there was a quid pro quo involving military aid to Ukraine.
