Salt Lake City couple killed in small plane crash

A medical examiner in California says a Utah couple died in a small plane crash near Camarillo on Wednesday.

The Ventura County Medical Examiner's office announced yesterday that John and Tara Wells of Salt Lake City died when their plane crashed about a thousand feet from the runway of the Camarillo Airport.

The cause of the crash is under investigation.
