A Smithfield man will spend up to 15 years in prison after he sprayed a corrosive chemical onto two young boys who were his neighbors.

Jason Summers injured the brothers back in June, spraying them both in the face and chest with a pesticide, leaving them both with chemical burns.

A judge ordered Summers to spend at least one year behind bars and gave him credit for time already served in jail since the incident.
