Southern Utah law enforcement is acknowledging its flaws within the system.

St. George Interim Police Chief Kyle Whitehead says he agrees that the system needs to be reformed but argues that not all cops are bad.

He added that he hopes the community will bring up any issues or concerns they may have to the department as he says they have always taken swift action to look into problems.

Whitehead says over the past decades it has become difficult to fill positions with quality candidates due to the tight job market and worries police departments could be hiring people they traditionally wouldn't.
