(St. George, UT)  --  Thousands of turkeys are now dead after an outbreak of the avian flu.  The birds were euthanized across 18 Utah farms.  The cases first were detected earlier this year, but officials saw a stark increase starting in August.  An official with the State Department of Agriculture and Food said Utah has one of the highest numbers of turkey farmers.
