Two Utah County businesses are being linked to a pair of COVID-19 outbreaks.

Utah County Commissioner Tanner Ainge says the news could set back efforts to relax coronavirus restrictions and reopen more of Utah.

County commissioners will not identify the businesses, but say a combined 68 people got sick because of their negligence.

One of the businesses told workers to return to the job, even after they tested positive for COVID-19.

Health officials say one business has been shut down temporarily.

Lisa Guerra of the Utah County Department of Health says the coronavirus infections were traced back to each business after interviews with the individuals affected.
