The Utah Transit Authority hopes it never has to deal with a terrorist attack on one of its trains, but it wants to be ready just in case.

Spokesman Carl Arky with the UTA says his agency worked with first responders in Layton yesterday to simulate an attack on a FrontRunner train.

Volunteers playing injured victims were helped from the train while members of the bomb squad searched the train for fake explosives.

Arky said the event was mainly to work on communication and coordination in the event of an actual emergency.
