Utah beer drinkers may face short term shortage
Utah's beer drinkers may face a short period where they won't have their favorite brands on the shelves of state grocery and convenience stores.
Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control Executive Director Sal Petilos said on a podcast this week that those stores may run out of some brands of three-point-two beer before they can begin stocking heavier versions of those brands on November 1st.
Stores won't even be able to order and store the heavier brews before that date.
The Utah Alcohol Coalition says they are working to fix what they call a logistical and timing issue.
