Utah Department of Health turning nursing home into Covid-19 care facility
The Utah Department of Health is turning a Salt Lake City nursing home into a COVID-19 care facility.
Health officials says they took over the 34-bed facility after six residents and two workers tested positive for coronavirus and one person died.
The nursing home will house patients who no longer require hospital-level care and residents who test negative will be relocated to another facility.
The name of said facility was not released by the department.
