Utah porch pirates on the rise

As Utah shoppers ordered gifts for Cyber Monday, they may want to take extra steps to prevent thefts on their doorstep.

According to home security company SafeWise, Salt Lake City is the second-worst metro area for porch pirate problems, with 27-and-a-half reported thefts per one-thousand people.

Only San Francisco ranked higher.
