Police using bait to catch porch pirates

TAYLORSVILLE, Utah (KDXU) - Utah police are working with Amazon to lure porch pirates by using GPS in packages.

The Utah Attorney General's Office is coordinating a task force and the packages look like a normal Amazon delivery.

Package thefts are up in recent years, according to SafeWise, 210 million thefts happened in the last year.
