Utah tax reform task force to hold town hall meetings

The ten-member tax reform task force formed by leaders of the Utah House and Senate plans to make an eight-stop town hall tour before the end of July.

Republican House Majority Leader Francis Gibson told members of the Revenue and Taxation Interim Committee about those plans yesterday.

No dates have been set for the town halls, and the Tax Restructuring and Equalization Task Force has not yet met as a group.
