Members of the Utah Jazz and other Utahns, along with the rest of the sports world, are mourning the death of NBA great Kobe Bryant.

Utah Valley University head basketball coach Mark Madsen, a former Los Angeles Laker, said he hopes the world remembers Bryant for everything he was.

Bryant, his 13-year-old daughter, Gianna, and seven other people were killed yesterday in a helicopter crash in southern California.

On Twitter, guard Donovan Mitchell said rest in paradise, Mamba, which was the nickname Bryant gave himself.

Center Rudy Gobert reminded fans to enjoy every single day, you never know when it's gonna end.

In the final game of his career three years ago, Bryant scored 60 points against the Jazz.

Mark Madsen readily acknowledges just how great the Los Angeles Lakers star was.
