Helicopter crash kills two

The Utah County Sheriff's Office is identifying the two people who died in a helicopter crash near Alpine.

Benno and Megan Penna died Friday when the helicopter crashed between the Schoolhouse Spring Trailhead and Lone Peak.

Matty Johns worked for Benno Penna and said his boss took him for a ride in the helicopter shortly after he bought it.

Johns said he never felt unsafe with Penna while they were in the air.

The Pennas were both 32-years-old and were the parents of two children.

The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the crash.
