Even though the Southwest Utah Public Health Department say it feels a little too soon for an expansion, at least in Washington County, eligibility for the COVID-19 vaccine is being expanded to now include all Utahns 65 to 69-years of age. Governor Spencer Cox says they can start receiving doses of the vaccine on March 1st, along with people with high-risk health conditions while many individuals over the age of 70 are still trying to get their doses. Regardless of this concern, slots will still become available for the next eligible group.
