2 Men Impersonating LDS Missionaries in Roy Area

Police in Roy are looking into reports that a pair of men may have impersonated missionaries from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints to try to enter several homes.

Roy Police Detective Josh Taylor says investigators are hoping to find security camera footage that will help them identify the two men.

Homeowners living near 3260 West and 6000 South say the casually dressed pair rang doorbells in their neighborhood Sunday afternoon.

The men asked several homeowners if they could come inside to talk about the LDS Church but were not allowed to enter.
