A junior varsity basketball player at Ben Lomond High School was handcuffed and detained following his game on Friday at Cedar Valley High School.

16-year-old Laval Stephens says he and some of his teammates were sitting on the Cedar Valley side watching the varsity game when an administrator from Cedar Valley High asked them to move.

Stephens was moving back to the Ben Lomond side with a coach when a Utah county sheriff deputy intervened and escorted the teenager outside where he was arrested for trespassing.

The Utah County Sheriff department is investigating the incident.
