Candidate Jeff Burningham chooses running mate

Republican candidate for governor Jeff Burningham has picked his running mate. 

Burnigham announced yesterday that State Senator Dan McCay was his choice to be lieutenant governor, should he be elected in November. 

Burningham is currently seeking to secure a spot in the June GOP primary through the state Republican convention. 

His choice of McCay could help him win over conservative delegates at the April 25th convention.
