Several hundred people gathered in downtown St. George on Tabernacle to attend the "End the Mask Mandate rally."

St. George Police were on hand at the rally but it was totally peaceful.

Participants held signs and gave speeches some calling for parents to send their school age children to school without face coverings. Others were saying "We need to all stand up against all those that tell us where to go and what to do."

The gathering was organized by the Liberty Action Coalition. Their motto on the information sent out was “We the people have had enough.

The line in the sand has been drawn. Join us as we march in unison.”

Utah Governor Gary Herbert has mandated face coverings for all students, visitors and staff in all K-12 schools in the state.
