The Washington County Children's Justice Center is reporting an increase in child abuse incidents.

Director Kristy Pike presented the 2018 to 2019 report that says the center served about five-hundred victims as compared to the previous year's 315 victims.

The recorded cases range from physical abuse, neglect, domestic abuse and human sex trafficking.

Pike emphasized that in-school therapists have helped bring more cases to light.
