DWR turning up the heat on poaching

The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources is turning up the heat on illegal poaching in the state.

DWR officials say they have issued more than nine-hundred citations since August 1st after 102 big game animals were illegally killed during that timeframe.

DWR officials say tips to the Turn-in-a-Poacher hotline have been a big help.

They're asking hunters to be on the lookout for more potential poachers as hunting seasons continue.
