New poaching numbers released by DWR

The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources has released startling new numbers about poaching from last year.

In all, more than one-thousand animals were illegally killed in 2019.

DWR estimates the combined value of the wildlife killed was more than 386-thousand dollars.

Last year, DWR issued 526 citations for poaching and illegal hunting.
