Voters in parts of Utah can start making their way to the polls today as in-person early voting starts for statewide municipal primary elections.

The state's election website notes that early voting is not offered in all areas, so voters are encouraged to check with their local election officials to see if that option is available.

Mail-in ballots have been sent to registered voters over the last week, and may be requested through August 6th.

That is also the last date to register to vote.

The primary election is set for August 13th.
