Former Rich County commissioner arrested for sex abuse of a child

A former Rich County commissioner has been arrested on accusations of sexually abusing a child.

Sheriff's deputies say 68-year-old Tom Weston abused a 14-year-old female relative several times over a two-year period.

According to charging documents, investigators set up a monitored phone call last week between Weston and the victim.

During the call, the suspect admitted to the crimes he was charged with.
