Hundreds of Utahns protesting Stay Home directive
Hundreds of Utahns want state and local leaders to move quickly to relax coronavirus restrictions and allow businesses to reopen.
Daphne Podolak of Lehi was one of the many that came to the Salt Lake City and County Building Saturday to rally in support of getting current stay-at-home and public gathering restrictions removed.
Many at the rally said the restrictions were negatively affecting the economy.
On Friday, Governor Herbert announced a plan to reopen parts of Utah's economy by early next month, but added that his plan depended on continued compliance with current stay safe, stay home directives.
