Former Governor Jon Huntsman and Lieutenant Governor Spencer Cox have pulled into a virtual tie for the Republican nomination in the Utah governor's race.

A new poll from Dan Jones & Associates has Huntsman with a 32-to-28 lead over Cox among likely GOP voters, which is within the margin of error.

The same poll shows Huntsman with a greater advantage among independent voters, leading Cox 35-to-23.

The other two GOP hopefuls that polled the highest were outgoing Congressman Rob Bishop, who is not running for the office, and businessman Jeff Burningham.
