No more Russian beverages in liquor stores

SALT LAKE CITY, Utah (KDXU) - Governor Spencer Cox is ordering all liquor stores in the state to remove all products made in Russia and made by Russian brands.

"Russia's ruthless attack on a sovereign nation is an egregious violation of human rights. Utah stands in solidarity with Ukraine and will not support Russian enterprises, no matter how small the exchange," says Governor Cox.

The Office of Economic Opportunity is also reviewing all state contracts for any economic ties with the country.

This comes after Russia invaded Ukraine last week.
