West Elementary, for a long time, was St. George's OLDEST Elementary School. It was located right behind the Swig on St. George Boulevard before being torn down 15 years ago. I never went to West Elementary, but my Mom did. My cousins did. SO MANY FRIENDS DID. It seems like everywhere you look, you find someone else who went to West Elementary. This article is FOR YOU!

We've now reached the 1970s at West Elementary. As if you couldn't tell by the style!
Look how beautiful this school was... and now it's just a parking lot. What a shame.
