Post Malone Gives Shoutout To TINY Utah Town at Grammys!
Post Malone was performing at the Grammys this last weekend, and Utahns took focus to something WAY MORE important! His hat. In front of millions of people across the globe, Post Malone hopped onto the Grammys stage wearing a hat and belt buckle representing the legendary Fiesta Days Rodeo from Spanish Fork, Utah. No... Not Los Angeles. Not New York or Paris. SPANISH FORK!
Truth be told... This might be the biggest flex Spanish fork has had since... Well, ever!
Spanish Fork Takes Center Stage: A Local Flex
For those not familiar with Spanish Fork, it's a city in Utah County that it seems like everyone has a random cousin that lives there. But, now suddenly they're receiving a global shoutout on music's BIGGEST night!
Spanish Fork Mayor Mike Mendenhall said he was watching with his family when his 9-year-old suddenly yelled, “He’s wearing the rodeo hat!” And that’s when everything popped off.
A Shoutout to Spanish Fork: The Town Behind the Hat
Phones across Utah were blowing up. Group chats exploding. Every Utah resident collectively going,
“WAIT… DOES THAT SAY SPANISH FORK???”
According to Spanish Fork city officials, Posty has previously been spotted at the Spanish Fork Fiesta Days Rodeo, where he helped bull riders, signed autographs, took selfies with fans, and hung out like a local all night!
Boosted Attendance: Fiesta Days Rodeo Goes Global
As if the Fiesta Days rodeo didn't already sell out each night, every year, I'm sure this year will be even bigger! Utah didn’t just get a cameo at the Grammys, we got a full-blown flex! And, for one teeny tiny moment, Spanish Fork was cooler than Hollywood.
