Utahns, it’s time to dust off your Beskar, grab a Swig, and prepare yourselves, because The Mandalorian & Grogu is about to drop in theaters on the 22nd, and Utah hype levels are higher than water level anxiety for Lake Powell. This is not a drill. This is the way.

First, Hydration.

Come on you know full well you’re going to cry at least twice: once when Mando appears on screen, and when Grogu does literally anything, including blinking. Bring water. Bring electrolytes. Bring a friend who won’t judge your sniffles.

Second, Wardrobe.

Utah theaters will be 68 degrees and aggressively air-conditioned, so plan accordingly. Layer up: flannel, hoodie or robe, maybe even a dark saber to warm you by its blade. If you’re in St. George and think 70 degrees is brisk, maybe bring your Grogu blanket.  Don't forget your Star Wars flair, like a Grogu pin or a full Mandalorian helmet you swear won’t fog up.

Third, snacks.

I'm not saying you should sneak food into the theater, but you’ll want something crunchy, something sweet, and something that feels vaguely space‑themed. Dots? Space. Popcorn? Space. A Maverik cinnamon roll the size of a podracer engine? Now that's deep space.

Fourth, mental preparation.

This movie will contain action, heart, lore, and at least one moment where Grogu makes a noise so cute it rewires your brain chemistry. Practice deep breathing. Nibble your blue macaroon in meditation. Maybe commune with a Jedi intergalactically.

Finally, remember your Utah manners.

Let people merge in the parking lot. Don’t shame the family who brought seven kids. And when someone goes in the exit on mistake remember to give them room because for that moment "this is the way." Oh, and if anyone utters that please be sure to yell it back.
