Meb Anderson has been appointed by Utah Governor Spencer Cox to serve as a judge in the Fifth District Court, a position he will assume on November 1, 2024. Anderson's nomination received unanimous support from the Senate Judicial Confirmation Committee, a testament to his extensive legal experience and dedication.

For over five years, Anderson has been the Assistant Attorney General assigned to Southern Utah University (SUU), playing a key role in the University’s Office of Legal Affairs. In addition to his role at SUU, Anderson has served as the Education Division Director for the Utah Attorney General’s Office since 2021. In this capacity, he oversaw state attorneys advising higher education institutions, school boards, and local school districts across Utah.
