Judge petitioned in Representative Phil Lyman case
Federal prosecutors have petitioned a judge to hold Republican Representative Phil Lyman in contempt for not paying restitution for his role in a 2015 protest.
Lyman was ordered to pay 95-thousand dollars in restitution after he blocked off a federal road in Recapture Canyon.
Lyman has paid one-hundred dollars a month as ordered, but prosecutors argue he can now pay more and a judge ordered him to produce his tax returns from the last three years to determine whether he can.
According to the feds, Lyman still has not produced those documents.
