Man arrested on weapons and drugs charges in St. George neighborhood

A man was arrested on weapons and drugs charges, after being reported for his behavior in a Saint George neighborhood.

Wiley Earl Lavender Redding, shirtless and with a child in tow, came to the front door of Thomas Huffman's house Tuesday.

Redding repeated the word YAHWEH about 40 times, and Huffman told him to leave.

He didn't, and Huffman called police.

Officers arrived and found an A-R 15-style rifle, a knife, shotgun shells and other gun parts in Redding's car.

His first court appearance is on Friday.
