Man Attacked at Salt Lake International Airport

A bizarre story this morning.

A man who got past security at the Salt Lake City Airport and attacked a traveler Saturday is in custody.

The victim says he sat down to wait for his flight, then he felt a blow to his head. T-S-A authorities say 43-year-old Victor Cossio was arrested for robbery and assault, after he got into the G Concourse without a ticket and started punching a man waiting to board his plane, then stole his phone.

Authorities say the attack was random.  Cossio is being held at the Salt Lake County Jail.

The man who was attacked at the  Salt Lake City Airport says he went into a panic after getting repeatedly hit in the head.
