The Summit County Sheriff's office is confirming the identity of a 20-year-old man from California who died while on a skiing trip at Park City Mountain Resort.

The sheriff's office identified the victim as Charlie Noxon, the son of "Orange Is the New Black" creator Jenji Kohan.

Resort officials say the victim was involved in some sort of serious incident on an intermediate trail near Canyons Village on Tuesday, and died while receiving treatment.

His family plans to hold a funeral service for Noxon on Sunday.
