Parowan man arrested for shooting and killing dog

A Parowan man is behind bars for allegedly shooting and killing his neighbor's dog. 

Bradley Niederhauser called police on Saturday, saying the dog was loose and he planned to shoot it if it came onto his property. 

When deputies arrived, they found the animal dead near his property. 

He said the dog had attacked him, but deputies say there's no evidence he was ever in danger. 

Niederhauser now faces multiple charges, including aggravated animal cruelty.
