Search resumes for Iron County resident

The Iron County Sheriff’s Office is resuming its search for a resident who went missing in October of last year. 

The search will be conducted in the Three Peaks Recreation Area of Iron County. 

The agency is asking for volunteers to help locate 71-year-old Carol Stratton who disappeared amid unseasonably cold weather in late October of 2019.  County officials and volunteers searched, without success for days, whereupon the search became a recovery effort.
