Several liquor stores may dump cases of beer
Several state-owned liquor stores will be forced to dump cases of beer down the drain thanks to a new state law taking effect.
The Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control says the stores will have to get rid of any beer that has up to five-percent alcohol, because they don't stock any beer that's already available on the open market.
The new law taking effect on Halloween allows private stores to increase their alcohol content from four to five-percent.
That means anything left at the state-owned stores will go down the drain.
