A Utah brewery will not be selling its popular Polygamy Porter in North Carolina.

The North Carolina Alcohol Beverage Control Commission denied an appeal from Wasatch Brewery and Squatters Craft Beers seeking to sell the beer.

The commission had denied an earlier request by the brewery, saying the name of the beer was in bad taste because polygamy is illegal.

The Utah companies say they may file a lawsuit seeking to overturn the decision.
